Following Christmas ritual every year, we Axions to celebrate the Christmas season and as a part of spreading the Christmas cheer, visited the Angels children’s home, in Bangalore, that shelters kids of ages 2 yrs. to 17 yrs. The kids who were wonderfully trained by the experienced staff are adept at various activities. As we interacted with them, we got an insight into their talents and the selfless service that goes on in an institution like this.

To do our part in extending the joy of the season and as a part of our safety initiative, we gifted them masks, sanitizers, surface disinfectant sprays and other necessary items. The lovable smiles on their faces were a wonderful sight to witness.

Their singing Merry Christmas and dancing, was scintillating. We couldn’t resist joining the childish fun. It was also lovely, conversing with the adorable kids, about their hobbies, interests, dreams and hopes. To have had such an experience was truly beautiful.

The way we spent the day has been a great lesson at humility and sharing. We often crib about the smallest things in our lives, however the kids, despite many hurdles and testing times, teach you to be positive and look forward to life, with all its highs as well as lows.
